The Home Vintner held its 16th Annual Limited Edition Tasting Evening on Nov. 18th. Although it was a bitter cold night, many braved the elements to attend. As usual, Dave Larocque gave a great presentation on this year’s Limited Edition wines along with food pairings for each wine. All pairings had the “WOW” factor which dramatically accentuated the character of the wine.
Australian Shiraz / Viognier – paired with mushroom cups. Pacifica White – paired with White Stilton cheese with Mango & Ginger. Italian Primitivo – paired with spicy meatballs with feta cheese and fennel seeds. Austria Gruner Veltliner – paired with shrimp with cream sauce. Portuguese Duoro Tinto – paired with veggie dumplings with Hoison sauce.
