Oh to be a Monarch butterfly

Each autumn, the pale sun and cooling temperatures prompt them to gather with millions of comrades to prepare for their annual migration to sunny Mexico.  There is nothing quite like seeing a pulsating carpet of orange and black covering a stump or tree trunk as they perform their run up for flight ...  Ontario's Pelee Island Winery has honoured them with their new Monarch label, an in house red blend, a good value for a bottle with such a pretty label.

Everyone should try & go to Pelee Island - it is a small island with wonderful B&B's to stay at. Great wine too! Really enjoyed my time there.
